Much of Damascus's make-up and fashion now sells through Instagram and WhatsApp. Here is how those orders reach your door, and how paying in cash on delivery works.
A large share of beauty and fashion retail in Damascus has moved online: an Instagram page, a WhatsApp number and photos of the stock. Selling is easy. Delivery and payment are the hard part.
The short answer
Agree the items and price with the shop, then have them book Wslak Send. A driver collects from the shop, brings it to your door (usually within the hour inside the city), collects the cash from you and returns it to the seller.
